Our product platform

The how.fm flywheel.

We are working on the self-improving logistics site. One standard, every improvement: Automatically rolled out across sites, shifts, and teams. In every language.

Change a process in Lean and the connected course updates in Learn — translated, voiced, and reassigned to everyone it affects.

Live shows your operators how — right in the flow of work. And supports your quality control and more. Lens gathers the insights that trigger the next continuous improvement cycle. Automatically, following your approval.

Our history

Many years, one direction.

We started in 2018 building a voice assistant for warehouses. 50+ shop-floor interviews later, we understood the real problem: training before-the-job and instructions on-the-job that never reach workers in a form and language they understand and can apply right away. Everything since follows from that.

  1. 2018

Founded in Cologne, Germany, as a voice assistant for the shop floor. The technology was emerging; the plan didn’t turn out to be plan A.

  2. 2018

We ran 50+ interviews on warehouse floors and joined onboarding ourselves. The real problem was that intent and instructions never reached workers in a language they understood.

  3. 2019

The first customer version of the platform. The first customer subscription. The first go-live in a real warehouse.

  4. Today

Hundreds of sites in more than 30 countries, empowering operators in more than 30 languages.

What we believe

Around 80% of the world doesn’t work at a desk.

Software mostly gets built for the other 20%. We build for the people moving picks, parcels, and pallets. Regardless of language, regardless of literacy. Everyone deserves a fair chance to learn the job.

And no, we’re not competing with automation. We’re its instruction manual: the more machines a warehouse runs, the more the people around them need to know.
